Is God An Alien from Outer Space?

The person who asked the question may be a sincere seeker of the truth or he is just trying to steer up a debate, or he is just trying to be logical in his reasoning. When it comes to knowing who God is, there is only one place where we can search, and that is the Word of God. It provides absolute truth concerning who God is, where he is from, and His active work in the affairs of men.

I will answer this question from a Biblical perspective, and not from our logic or reason.

God is not an Alien. The concept of an alien contradicts the very nature of who God is, and by the definition of alien, it is a strange or foreigner who does not know anything about where is going. God has always been of old, he is from everlasting to everlasting. He is self sustaining, self sufficient, and self Operating.

Why Do I Believe that He is not an Alien?

  1. God is the Creator.

Alien does not create anything, he goes to a place where things have already been in existence, and stays there, and enjoy the benefits of the toil and labors of people already in that place. But God is the only Creator.

  1. God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth

If God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, He will not be a stranger to His Creation. Let’s start right from the Book of the beginning, God explains how everything came into existence.

Genesis 1:1 KJV

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Genesis 1:21 KJV

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Isaiah 42:5 KJV

Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Isaiah 45:18 KJV

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord ; and there is none else.

  1. God is the Creator of Life.

The Bible tells us that Christ is the Creator of Life. He brings life into existence, and we cannot deny the power God has to bring life out of nothing. And that is why human needs God for us to be alive. He is the sustainer of life.

Genesis 5:1 KJV

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

Genesis 9:6 KJV

Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Deuteronomy 4:32 KJV

For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

  1. God is the Controller.

Daniel 5:19 KJV

And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.

Because God is the Creator, He also Controls the creatures. Bible tells us that God controls the affairs of man. He builds up and sets down, and no one can question his authority as to why He does so. An alien does not control people, and He is the only One with such a supernatural powerful to do.

Some of the Scriptures to support this point.

Daniel 2:21 KJV

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Psalm 75:7 KJV

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

  1. He is the Giver

Genesis 28:4 KJV

And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.

Everything in the world belongs to God, and He gives to humanity to enjoy freely.

Bible tells us that God so loved the world, and because of His love, he gave us His only begotten.

John 3:16 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God actually gave himself to humanity in the person of Jesus Christ. And that is why we can actually know Him and build a relationship with us.

Part 2

My sincere reply to the man that answer the question is very simple.

Christians today worshipped the same God as the people in the middle age. God does not change His position, and He plainly told us in the Book that he does not change.

From the Old Testament to the New Testament, believers have only believe in the existence of only One True God. Bible says in the following Scriptures:

Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord :

Mark 12:29 KJV

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

1 Corinthians 8:4-6 KJV

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. [5] For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) [6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

One cannot remove Christ from Christianity. If you remove Mohammed from Islam, their religion will still continue in search of God like many other false religion, but without Christ, Christianity is nothing. Christ is the foundation of Christianity.

1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
